Great touring company: flexible and professional

We were visiting Dubrovnik for a day on the cruise ship P&O Aurora and whilst it had been quite a while since we last visited we wanted to do something a bit different than just walk around the walls. After looking at all the various options available and considering a few tour companies we decided that this company would offer a great tour and our pre tour correspondence with them helped to convince us that we'd made a correct decision. even when we had fairly late notice that our cruise itinerary had changed which meant arriving 3 days earlier than originally planned they were able to accomodate this change. We also changed our meeting place as the ship was tendering us in to the Old Harbour so our guide, Karmen, met us there instead of us needing to walk through to the Pile Gate. There were 10 of us in our tour group, some familiar with GoT and others less so but the tour was fascinating to all the people in our group regardless of their familiarity with the story. Karmen was excellent and took her time in showing us around Dubrovnik with, of course, a special emphasis on the places where particular scenes from GoT were filmed and showing us the contrast between the actual site and the TV version. We enjoyed a good walk around the City and never felt crowded as Karmen mainly kept us away from the very busy centre (there were about 3 other large cruise ships in that day) and after we'd finished our tour here we caught the ferry across to Lokrum Island where there was more GoT things including the opportunity to sit on the Iron Throne. All of us were absolutely delighted with our tour here and would strongly recommend this company to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

Book this tour early - the guides are great!

When I knew our cruise would be docking in Dubrovnik the first thing I wanted to do was a GOT Tour. I contacted Tom and he was very informative and quick to respond - I booked the full day GOT Tour (8hrs) more than 12 months in advance. Tom maintained contact throughout the 12 months and met us dockside on the day. Tom first took us to the hills to give us a view of the Old Town - detailing the history of the area (including wars) and also showed us photos from scenes to confirm their actual location while we were standing there. We then headed out to Trsteno Arboretum (aka Highgardens) for some more film locations and exceptional views, we even got to reenact the sword scene between Jamie and Bronn. Tom then dropped us back in the Old Town where we were met by his sister Tonka (an extra from GOT). Again we walked the Old Town, the Fortress of St Lawrence and took a boat ride to Lokrum Island - all throughout being shown scenes from GOT but learning about the history of the area and we even got to sit on the THRONE (free of charge). All entrance fees were included in the price. Both Tom and Tonka spoke excellent English and were exceptional tour guides for the area with their expert knowledge (both historic and GOT) and took many photos for us. This was a private tour and was well worth the money we paid. I was very glad I booked my tour with Tom, would highly recommend his company and I someday I would like to return to the beautiful city of Dubrovnik.

One of most memorable tours

This was one of our most memorable tours to date. I'm very picky about tours because I really don't like being herded like sheep in larger groups. This tour was completely personal. We took the shorter tour because the island was closed for the season but we would have loved to continue spending time with Neno. We got so much fun information about the show but also got just tons of interesting points about the area, history etc. My mom has a little less mobility and he was patient, positive and supportive. He never made her feel like she couldn't keep up. The views were stunning and we enjoyed every minute of the day. We would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Dubrovnik. Thank you Neno!!

Two-day GOT-history tour

I contacted this company in early March for a November tour and received an immediate, informative email loaded with options from Tom. Through several emails Tom arranged one full and one half day tour with plenty of options as some activities were weather permitting. On the first day of our tour Tom promptly met us at the ship and off we went on an ambitious full day tour. Within minutes we knew we had hit the jackpot with Tom as our guide. He was extremely flexible in the structure of the days, always made sure we were maximizing our opportunities, and always made sure we were fully satisfied with how the tour was going. Tom is very engaging, has an excellent sense of humor, and his knowledge of ancient and current history gave us a well rounded view of how the city of Dubrovnik and the country of Croatia have evolved over time. And he offers to take lots of pictures if you want, which was really nice for us as we enjoyed having both of us in our picture for a change! We highly recommend this experience with Tom even if you are not knowledgeable about Game of Thrones or a fan of the show. He will make sure you understand the history behind the locations and will introduce you to the show if you're not familiar with it! If we return to the Dubrovnik area we will definitely reach out to Tom for another tour experience with him!

Highlight of our Croatia trip

Three of us did the full day tour with Tom and Neno, and it was the highlight of our entire Croatia trip. Both tour guides are incredibly knowledgeable about Game of Thrones and the history of the various locations, so you really get a feel for Dubrovnik. Tom made sure we got great photos - he knows which locations and angles will make for the best ones, and he's very patient and willing to take a few! We particularly loved driving out to the gardens to see the locations there - the views and flowers were beautiful, and it's off the beaten path so it was nice to escape the crowds in the city. In addition to being incredibly interesting, Tom and Neno were both thoughtful and really made us feel taken care of. They made sure we got coffee at a great (and affordable) location in the city, worked around our schedule for a lunch break, and even made an extra stop at the bus station so we could buy our tickets to Split on the way back from the gardens, saving us a lot of time and stress! They're just incredibly lovely people, and you won't regret a minute or a dollar spent on this tour

Breathtaking views and superb guide

Tom with his driver Mike took us high above Dubrovnik to the Mountain of St. Serge with a breathtaking view of old town and the Dalmatian coastal islands. We visited the Arboretum along the coast north of the city and enjoyed several sites that were in Games of Thrones scenes. Tom got us started on the fantastic walk around the Old Town of Dubrovnik, even picked up lunch for us. He was a superb guide for our second day in Dubrovnik.
