FAQs

How do I book a tour?

Previous to your tour booking you would need to send an inquiry form that contains the following information:

  • Full name and surname
  • e-mail address
  • Preferred tour date
  • Number of people in the group
  • Additional information (such as: preferred starting times, age of group members, mobility issues or other information that you find necessary to mention)

After that, you’ll receive an e-mail that confirms the availability of the tour on the preferred date/time as well as the price for the tour. If everything is OK with you, you will proceed with the booking and payment of the booking fee.

What is the booking fee?

The booking fee is the amount of money that needs to be paid in advance in order to confirm the tour. This amount varies between 10$, 20$, 30$ and 40$ per person depending on the duration and the type of tour. It serves to cover local unavoidable expenses (such as entrance fees and down payment for vehicle rental).

For example, booking the 2.5-hour long Dubrovnik Game of Thrones tour for four persons would require the payment of 40$ (or 10$ per person).

The tour is not considered booked until the booking fee is paid.

Do I need to pay full tour cost to book the tour?

No. You just need to pay the booking fee.

When do I pay for the tour?

After you confirmed the tour and paid the booking fee, your tour is considered to be booked. The remainder of the tour price will be paid locally once the tour is completed.

What is your cancellation policy?

The booking fee will be fully reimbursed in case the cancellation is submitted via e-mail 30 days before the start of the tour. All cancellations that happen within 30 days before the tour will not receive refund of the booking fee.

Can I join an existing tour?

No. All the tours in our offer are private. Once you book the tour, you book the time slot for only you and your group and you have your own guide at your disposal. You are also free to invite others to join your group, but all changes in the group size need to be advised prior to the tour as this might require additional charges.

My group consists of adults and children. Are there any discounts for children?

Yes. However, the discounts for children depend on their age so please advise the precise number of adults, children and teenagers in the group to get a precise quotation for the tour and booking fees.

How early do I need to book the tour?

All tour bookings need to be made at least 24 hours in advance. However, you are always welcome to contact us to see if it’s possible to accommodate a last minute booking.

How often does the tour run?

All the tours in our offer are private tours. This means that they only run once the tour is booked and this depends on the availability of our guides and your own preferences for the tour timing.

Also, please note that some of the places we need to visit during our tour have different hours of operation in low and high season, so this might affect the tour starting times.

Where does the tour start?

The meeting location is usually at the large plateau by the Pile Gate, the western entrance to the Old Town of Dubrovnik, which is also the main bus stop for local public buses and cruise passengers shuttle buses coming from the port of Gruz. Your guide will be waiting at the Pile Gate drawbridge (impossible to miss), holding a signboard with your name.

It is also possible to arrange another meeting location in the vicinity of the Old Town, such as at the eastern entrance called Ploce Gate or at some other point within the walls of Dubrovnik, depending on what is the most convenient for you. However, this needs to be advised during the booking.

Can you collect us at our hotel/apartment?

Yes. Please contact us directly for arrangements as this might require additional charges depending on the location.

Are there any restrictions depending on the mobility of group members?

All tours in our offer require moderate effort as we need to climb a number of steps to reach some of the points. Non-slip soles and comfortable shoes are important when walking over the cobbles and flagstones which can become slippery in damp or inclement weather.

The tour can be adjusted to the needs of people with disabilities, however due to the number of steps, some of the locations would be difficult to reach for people using wheelchair or crutches.

It is advisable that you inform us about the fitness level of your group members in advance so that the tour can be re-arranged to cater the people with more serious mobility issues.
